1. Who we are
This website is operated by Jillani SofTech, a registered IT services firm providing AI engineering services to business clients ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy or your data, write to m.g.jillani@jillanisoftech.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact form. Name, company, work email, the service you are interested in, an optional budget range and the description you write. The form is processed by Formspree, which forwards the submission to our business mailbox.
- Booking. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects the details needed to schedule it under its own privacy policy.
- Direct contact. Anything you send by email, WhatsApp or phone.
- Usage data. Only if you click Allow on the cookie notice, and only when analytics is configured, we collect aggregated page views with IP anonymisation. Declining has no effect on the site working.
- Preferences. Your theme choice and cookie decision are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
3. How we use it
To answer your enquiry, scope and deliver an engagement you ask for, keep records that contracts and tax law require, and understand in aggregate how the site is used. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Legal basis
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, on the steps needed to enter a contract with you, and on your consent for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers that process data on our behalf: Formspree (form delivery), Calendly (scheduling), Google Workspace or an equivalent business email provider (mailbox), Vercel (hosting) and, if enabled, Google Analytics. Client engagement data is handled under the NDA and data processing terms agreed for that engagement and is never used for any other client.
6. Retention
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact so that we can follow up on a conversation you started. Contract and invoicing records are kept for the period required by law. Analytics data, where enabled, is retained for 14 months.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to m.g.jillani@jillanisoftech.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with security headers and a content security policy. Business mailboxes use multi-factor authentication. Client data in engagements is handled under the controls described on the security and data handling section.
9. Changes
We update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. Material changes to how we use data you have already given us will be communicated by email where we have an address for you.
